Here are some more entries to my sketchbook. I'm just playing with different concepts and such. Usually they come to me while running lol.

Finally i have some time! I'm going to start off my blog with a look into my sketchbook, & I figure i should start with some things i already have on file.

These are a combination of life drawing and working out of my head. I often focus on using a contrast of textures as well as colors, sketchy-tight ect. These in particular were intended as hand studies, and there is very little that goes any deeper than that on an emotional level lol.

Sketchbooks are especially fun! You only have to please your own aesthetics, so your'e given free reign over the content. Therefore, i usually take the opportunity to fool around conceptually. Also i may randomly think of a good idea, but have no place for it in my illustrations, so i put them here.

Certain things only happen when you don't care, and we are less likely to experiment and try new things when we care too much. For this reason, i think creating an arena of experimentation is one of the most important things we can do as artists.

Keep it in mind & stop being what you already are all the time.
